Common Beverage Gases
If you’re new to beverage gas, we’ve got you covered. Whether you need CO2 for beer gas or Nitrogen to create that perfect cold brew, EspriGas offers multiple solutions to make gas supply easy. Here are some common things to consider when reviewing your beverage gas supply needs.
Beer Gas – Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
From processing to preserving, packaging to pouring a glass — CO2 is most commonly known for carbonating beverages and creating dry ice in the beverage industry. Within the beverage industry, using CO2 for beer gas and beer kegs is standard practice.
CO2 is available in two forms: cylinders and micro-bulk CO2 liquid cylinders.
CO2 Cylinders
As the most common mode for CO2 delivery, gas cylinders are great for small quantities or areas where piping isn’t practical.
Liquid Cylinders
As CO2 volumes grow, liquid cylinders become the better option offering larger quantities of gas to be stored in a smaller footprint.
Common CO2 Gas Sizes:
- Carbon Dioxide 20 lbs.
- Carbon Dioxide 50 lbs.
- Microbulk 300 lbs.
- Microbulk 450 lbs.
